Abstract :
The fabrication and attractive performance of Prussian blue (PB)/indium tin oxide (ITO) composite disposable electrochemical sensors are described. Microscopic characterization on surface features and electrochemical properties were carried out using both atomic force microscopy (AFM) and amperometric detection. Experimental results showed that the PB thin film could serve as an excellent mediator that facilitates electron transfer. We measured electropherograms for the testing analytes consisted of catechol and dopamine with their concentrations of 100 μM and 10 μM, respectively.
