Abstract :
A miniaturised 16-channel LAPS device together with a control and measurement software was developed. The sensor chip, the IR-LED array and the electronic unit are accommodated in a small cylinder, which can be directly filled with the solution to be investigated. By modifying the measuring spots with various ion-selective membranes, this device can measure the concentrations of up to 16 different ions in parallel.
