Abstract
In order to decrease traffic accidents, we are developing driving safety support systems (DSSS), which prevents traffic accidents by providing information about danger and warning to drivers in advance. For example, when the traffic signals turn amber when approaching the intersection, a driver normally has to judge whether to pass it or stop in a moment in consideration of the speed of the vehicle and situation of vehicles ahead and around. This system supports drivers in making judgment for safe driving using infrastructure of traffic control systems. Therefore, we theoretically estimate dilemma zones and proper positions to supply information in accordance with the speed of vehicles, and then conduct verification test on the test field
