Abstract :
In a radar antenna servo system, the control law for the servo system plays an important role in tracking accuracy and dynamic performance. This paper applied the idea of characteristic model to a radar servo system, and then an intelligent control law, consisting of a specially designed logical differential control law to improve the system dynamic performance, based on characteristic model was proposed. The simulation examples illustrate that the designed control law has a better performance than a conventional controller in tracking step and ramp signals.
