Abstract
This paper proposes a new switched criterion based on minimum error rate for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. The proposed scheme is a closed-loop MIMO system, and the tradeoff between the diversity and multiplexing gains that can simultaneously achieved over a low-rate feedback channel with limited bits. Based on this criterion, a low complexity decision algorithm is proposed. The proposed scheme improves the performance of the receivers, achieves good performance close to the optimal algorithm, has much lower cost, and meets the real-time and rapidity requirements of communication systems. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed decision algorithm achieves excellent performance.
