Abstract :
We show that an intelligent system can be developed to solve the jigsaw puzzles problem using neural networks. More specifically, we employ the Hopfield neural networks to perform the matching of outer contours of the puzzle pieces. Although we consider matching puzzle pieces, a similar technique can be employed to solve related practical problems
