  • Abstract
    This paper presents the design of a predistorter which can be used to improve the linearity of power amplifier working on WCDMA band. For effectively suppress the spectrum regrowth in the adjacent channels, A dual rings predistorter with which the intermodulation distortion (IMD) can be adjusted independently is designed. With the help of the predistorter, ACLR is improved 10 for the cases of one-carrier WCDMA applications. The predistortion power amplifier with dual rings delivers a Pout of 37.02 dBm with an ACLR of -51 dBc. For two-carrier WCDMA applications, the ACLR also been ameliorated 8.5 dB.
