Abstract :
A vector control mathematical model of an independent designed high-speed Permanent Magnet Disk Synchronous Motor (PMDSM) with 4 pole-pairs and non-salient pole rotor structure is established under synchronous rotating reference frame. The full discrete simulation model of the vector control for the motor is built in Matlab/Simulink platform. The influences of speed reference, carrier frequency and rated load to output speed, one-phase current, and output torque, are explored. An actual vector control system is developed for comparative study with the simulation. The experimental results are coordinate with the simulation analysis. It indicates that the simulation model is valid and the vector control algorithm developed in this paper is able to achieve the desired effect for the high-speed PMDSM.
