Abstract
A neural network scheme is proposed for field orientation and torque control of the induction machine. The neural network control is derived using a gain scheduling technique, by means of a discrete time-variant model for the induction machine that is obtained for several operating conditions. Simulation results are presented to verify the efficiency of the proposed approach
