Abstract :
The mathematical model of STATCOM in the abc coordinate system is converted into dq coordinates through PARK transformation. Taking STATCOM´s strong coupling into account, the state feedback precise linearization method is applied to linearize and uncouple the original system. Then, uses the slide mode variable structure method to design STATCOM reactive power compensation controller. Also, RBFNN is used for adjust the network gain of SMVSC aimed at weakening variable structure control buffeting. The simulation shows that RBFNNSMVSC has a stronger adaptive ability and a better effect compared with the conventional variable structure control.
