Forecasting the mobile terminal technology with TFDEA method

With the accelerating pace of technological innovation, the uncertainty of technology development is also increasing, so it is important to estimate the trend of technology development through scientific and reasonable technology foresight. One of the recent foresight methods is TFDEA, which is based on data envelopment analysis and is theorectically an effective quantitative approach for technology forecasting. However, the application and research of TFDEA are relatively modest. In this paper, TFDEA is applied in assessing and forecasting the quantitative trends in the mobile terminal technology with its effectiveness tested.
