  • Abstract
    Software testing can detect most faults, but it can not find the dynamic fault with space and time, especially the dead halt fault. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a method of fault location based on software monitoring. First, a method of generating the extended control flow graph is studied, and then a method of generating running record and the process of locating faults is researched. Finally, an example is taken to test validity of this method.
