Abstract :
A micro grid model is built, including a permanent magnetic direct drive wind turbine, a photovoltaic cell and a flywheel storage system. Control strategy based on the flywheel storage system for micro grid transfer between grid-connected and short-time islanded states is presented. After analyzing each micro source and control module, a micro grid model is build and necessary simulation is carried out with simulation tool DIgSILENT/PowerFactory. The simulation results confirm the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
