Abstract :
The union of the tools and methods of scientific management and engineering disciplines is likely to be manifest in the emergence of the structured enterprise model. A definition of the systems method is suggested for both the engineer and the management scientist. A perspective on the realm of systems thinking is presented. A modern paradigm of strategy development and an application of systematic analysis to the evolution of the enterprise model are introduced
