Abstract :
For Vertical Bell Laboratories Layered Space-Time(V-BLAST) system, we propose a linear multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) detection algorithm which uses the transmit power constraints to reduce the search range in a linear space and uses the continuous gradient search method to get the optimal solution. The simulation results show that Power Constrained Gradient Decent Detection (PCGDD) detection performance is significantly better than linear detection algorithms zero forcing(ZF) and close to the minimum mean squares estimation(MMSE) detection performance. Furthermore, compared to the MMSE detection, power constrained gradient decent detection (PCGDD) omits the noise detection part and works effectively in high noise environments. So it has a lower computational complexity and a better robustness.
