Abstract
A new design for a low-dropout regulator circuit is presented in this work. The circuit is based on the driving of a pass element using two switches, thus improving the slew rate performance of the typical error amplifier. The circuit provides an accurate output voltage, which can drive different capacitive loads within the range of 500 nF to 4.7 μF (or bigger), with remarkable transient and steady state performance.
