Abstract :
This paper presents a detailed view of the security architecture and threats that face IMT-Advanced. Much of this information is spread throughout various medias, and is consolidated into this paper. First, it reviews the IMT-Advanced standard. Second, the network and security architecture of 4G technologies are analyzed. Third, the security processes for 4G standards are reviewed. Finally, threats and future vulnerabilities are explained and evaluated.
