Abstract
Most of the projects on vehicles with a collision avoidance system use cameras in order to build their environment. The purpose of our “Prometheus Prochip” project is to offer an alternative. One-dimensional sensors have been chosen to reduce calculus costs and times. The results of this application is not satisfying. In this paper, solutions are presented and compared in order to improve the performance of our sensors
