Abstract
This paper reports on a flexible micro resonator for a magnetic resonance (MR) catheter. The micro resonator consists of a micro coil of 3.8 μH and a micro capacitor of 0.81 nF. The micro coil and the micro capacitor fabricated on a glass wafer became flexible by etching the glass substrate wholly. This micro resonator was flexible enough to roll around the catheter. We built a simple nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) system to evaluate the flexible micro resonator as a receiver. The simple NMR system can produce the static magnetic field of 45 mT. We confirmed that the NMR signal can be obtained by the simple NMR system.
