  • Abstract
    People living in 35% of the landmass of the world have no electrical grid and they live mostly in darkness. These are the most appropriate cases for non-grid-connected wind power. Non-grid-connected wind power systems will combine with large-capacity energy storage system or high energy-loaded industries. There is a direct need to develop high capacity electrical energy storage system at cheap cost. Non-grid-connected wind power systems will be wide-spread and can meet the demand of the deprived world.
