Abstract
A system for detection of cardiac graft rejection based in the temperature, ECG and electrical impedance is described. The temperature is measured with two sensors to obtain the absolute temperature and the differential between two points inside the heart. A standard ECG lead and an intracavitary electrogram are also recorded. The electrical impedance of the tissue is measured with a three electrode configuration. In order to validate the system and the method several experiments are done with healthy anesthetized pigs.
