Abstract :
The notion of compatibility of an order with a classification and the notion of compatibility of a classification with a measure of dissimilarity are introduced. Several theoretical results simultaneously available in the case of partitions, hierarchies, and pyramids are given. These results provide construction procedures for obtaining various kinds of compatible consensus which facilitate the visual comparison of several classifications and thus make the study of a consensus between them easier
