  • Abstract
    Flexible thin-film (19 μm-thick) polarizers consisting of silver nanoparticles having rodlike shapes dispersed in polyimide blend films were prepared. Linear polarizing character with extinction ratios >20 dB and transparencies >75% were obtained in a wide-range of wavelengths.
