Abstract
System LSIs are moving towards more complex and high performance solutions. Accordingly, design methodology is changing from custom design to intellectual property (IP) based design in order to overcome the complex crisis. Interconnect technology is essential for accelerating the change, and is thus discussed from this viewpoint in this paper
