Abstract :
In the condition of WLAN (wireless local area network), walls are the main obstacles in channel. Nowadays, many structures and buildings use reinforced concrete walls. These walls affect transmission of EM wave at some degree. This paper analyses the effects of some typical structural parameters of reinforced concrete walls on transmission of EM wave using a finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) solution of Maxwell´s equations, in the condition of WLAN (2.4 GHz). We analyze that which factors affect transmission of EM wave and how these factors affect it. We result that the relationship of the thickness of reinforced concrete wall, the diameter of the rebar, the size of the rebar lattice (which are typical in common use) and the transmitted coefficient.
