Abstract
Low power operation is one of the main goals of modern IC design. In this paper power efficiency of several transconductors is presented and a new low power transconductor is proposed. The proposed transconductor is used to design a 4th order Gm-C bandpass filter with 3 MHz center frequency and 1 MHz bandwidth. The filter is implemented in 0.6 μm CMOS technology, consumes 1 mW from a 2.5 V supply and has 61 dB dynamic range.
