Abstract :
This paper describes error analysis of sweep points based on a simplified transmission/reflection method in time-domain for complex permittivity and permeability measurement. The uncertainty analysis yields estimates of the errors incurred due to the uncertainty in scatting parameter, length measurement, reference plane position and air gap errors near conductors and sample. In measurement, the sweep points influence the S-parameters measurement precision in the same frequency range too. A description of this is presented in this paper.
