Abstract :
In this paper, based on the Dechirping theory, a new method of measuring relative time delays in modules of the wideband digital array utilizing wideband LFM pulses are proposed. By using the FFT algorithm and some simple components, not only can the measurement method be easier to be implemented, but also good measurement precision and realtime performance are achieved. Meanwhile, all relative delays in modules are enabled to be acquired in a measuring process. The performances of the proposed method are analyzed from the theoretical angle and then some parameters associated to the measurement system are acquired. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.
