Abstract :
This paper discusses the measuring methods of grounding resistance. A new measuring method which uses third-order cumulant is suggested. The new method can eliminate the effects of Gaussian noise and harmonic disturbance, therefore, it can measure grounding resistance more accurately. Finally, the simulation examples is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new method
