  • Abstract
    In this paper an improved wave-front method is presented in the application of finite element method (FEM) for 3D magnetostatic modeling. First theory of wave-front method is analyzed. Then the principle of improved wave-front method (IWFM) is described clearly to show its efficiency. Furthermore, the availability of IWFM for non-linear application is demonstrated together with the strategy of IWFM optimization for "front width". Numerical example is also provided to verify the improved method and its efficiency.
