Abstract
The multi-mode equivalent network method is proposed to analyze the dispersion characteristics in various slow wave structures (SWS). Numerical results are given for disk loaded system, rectangular grating SWS and step loaded rectangular grating SWS, and they are in good agreement with published data. The method is rigorous, effective and versatile for the analysis of periodic structures.
