Abstract :
How to satisfy the requirement of high reliability and actualize energy-efficient data transmission in wireless sensor networks is an important problem. After analyzing traditional reliable transfer model of MAC layer, a new group-based acknowledgement model, which is efficiency centric, is brought forward to guarantee reliable transfer. Theory analysis shows that this model can reduce redundant information in the data transfer effectively and improve the utilization efficiency of the whole network, which will save lots of energy. And the performance of group-based acknowledgement model has been tested through experiment on Micaz platform, which proves that the new model is more suitable for the application of resource limited sensor networks.
