Abstract :
A recursive adaptive filtering algorithm using total least squares (TLS) technique is proposed. The convergence property of the algorithm is explained. A gradual optimum from the least squares (LS) to LTS enable the filter to have a flexible allocation. The effectiveness of the algorithm is demonstrated and verified by simulation on the high level EDA integrated software SPW (Signal Processing Worksystem), it is shown that the proposed algorithm is superior to the conventional LS method and can be implemented easily
