Abstract :
A Low conversion loss millimeter wave fourth subharmonic (SH) mixer designs are proposed in this paper. A millimeter wave fourth SH mixers with four open/short stubs is designed. In Ka-band, the conversion loss is less than 10 dB within a 3 GHz bandwidth. The minimum loss is 7.8 dB at the center frequency. By replacing two of the open/short stubs with low-pass filters, the performance of the SH mixer is improved significantly. In Ka-band, the conversion loss is less than 9 dB within a 3 GHz bandwidth. The minimum loss is 7.4 dB at the center frequency.
