Abstract :
A new formulation to solve emission constrained power dispatch in a thermal power plant has been examined. Self adaptive dynamic programming, which successfully handles a sequence of interrelated decisions, is opted as a tool to solve the same. This proposed approach provides the optimal generation for minimum emission in a fine analytical form.
