Abstract
An adaptive wide-band noise cancellation system is proposed which divides wide-band noise into several narrow-band noise and cancels each separately. The fundamental construction of the system has been analysed and the general principles of the choice of the system parameters are presented. It has been shown from the simulation results that a 15-25 dB noise suppression can be obtained for wide-band noise in a 0-4 kHz frequency range, when the input SNR is 0 dB and the length of the adaptive filters is 16
