  • Abstract
    A simple statistical method has been presented for evaluation of capacity for Gilbert-Elliott channels. Moreover, it has been shown that the time-varying binary symmetric channel, as a basic model for some wireless communication channels, is a special case of Gilbert-Elliott channel. Using the simple statistical method, the capacity of this channel has been calculated over the range of parameters of channel
