Abstract :
The rigorous methods for solving diffraction problems for basic slot structures in conducting screens of finite and infinitesimal thickness are considered for rectangular and cylindrical geometry of field propagation. These methods based on the unified mode matching technique and use the representation of diffraction fields as Fourier integrals and series.
