Abstract :
This paper describes a comparison and considerations in the implementation of synchronous and stationary current and voltage controllers. This comparison is made by analyzing the frequency response of both controllers in the PSCAD/EMTDC software. The simulations results are presented and the differences between controllers and their models for digital implementation are shown.
