Abstract
Ongoing improvements in sequencing technology allow even greater analysis of questions related to genome biology. We will overview several of the opportunities and challenges of newer generation sequencing applied to ecological questions. We also discuss arthropod-focused applications and resulting distributed systems resources available for decentralized bioinformatics analysis.
