Abstract
We investigate polarization rotation of waves by the cascade of crossed gratings. We considerably increase a frequency band of polarizers due to the increase of grating´s period and flat-topped response. We diminish period of the middle grating´s for elimination of the parasitic resonant effect and simplification of algorithms. The situation of crossed gratings as adjustable shutter is considered also.
