Abstract :
A novel ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna with two frequency notches is designed and implemented. Current distribution analysis is used to optimize the performance. Three examples are presented to validate the analysis. It is shown that by investigating the current distribution of the antenna, we can clearly find how to place a tuning stub to obtain the band-notched function.
