Abstract :
We propose information mediators to control information in internal representations. The information mediators can control the production of internal representations. Thus we can obtain appropriate internal representations, depending on the given targets. The information mediators were applied to multi-level information processing. In this processing information minimization is related to information maximization through the information mediators. Experimental results on language acquisition problems show that simple and well-interpretable internal representations can be obtained by the information mediators
