Abstract :
In biomagnetic measurements, a SQUID magnetometer must be calibrated correctly so that the magnetic source can be analyzed accurately. The authors developed a calibration system for a multichannel SQUID magnetometer. The system is composed of a coil unit including 24 circular coils, and a current control unit. By using this system the authors calibrated a 64-channel SQUID system. The reliability of the calibrated values could be evaluated using target coils
