Abstract :
This paper examines the performance of GSM channels and presents an efficient scheme for transmitting JPEG-coded images over GSM data channels using unequal error protection. In addition, some postprocessing techniques for error concealment within the received images are discussed. Channel simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the suggested scheme for a range of transmitted images
