Abstract :
The advance and application of open innovation make the management of external knowledge sources (EKS) more important. Helpful references from different research perspectives are offered. However, the changes of EKS and the demand of enterprises´ open innovation aren´t represented in a quantitative and dynamic way. Under the advantage of the combination with qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis from the Extension theory, this paper construct an extension classification model of EKS based on open innovation. The model represents the degree that how EKS accord with the demand of enterprises´ open innovation, from a change perspective. The uncertainty of open innovation´s dynamic variety is also characterized to some extent. The efficiency of utilization, maintain and cooperation is advanced, with the transformation of EKS that were not qualified.
