Abstract :
In the paper a novel method of designing of a digital complex sinusoidal oscillator is presented and its properties are discussed. Next, the proposed method is used to design an oscillator with two sinusoidal waves of the same frequency and amplitude but of π/2 phase difference between them. A new realization of the oscillator is proposed and purity of the signals generated in floating-point in the MATLAB environment has been analyzed.
