Abstract :
• Analytical model explored frequency of schedule-induced FIM interruptions due to single spacing goal • A single spacing goal is unable to meet multiple scheduling constraints • The runway-based paradigm can mitigate the inconsistency of the single spacing goal by using a customized runway buffer • Consolidation of multiple scheduling constraints by composite paradigm is consistent with single spacing goal
