Abstract :
• Results from HITL simulations showed TSS performance is unchanged and remains acceptable when using operational FAA automation platform (STARS) • Subjects consistently reported lower workload when using STARS • Feedback from controller questionnaires showed a trend that the participants preferred the STARS stations
