Abstract
A single phase AC electronic load used for UPS test is presented in this paper. The electronic load developed allows the operation as linear and non-linear load with controlled waveform. The energy used in the tests is returned to the grid reducing significantly the energy consumption used in the classical UPS tests. A 3 kW prototype was developed showing the correct operation of the different control structures (PI, phaselag, repetitive) used in the control loops of the power stages.
